🔧 What is a Clapton Coil (and Why It Matters)

• A “Clapton” coil uses a thinner wire tightly wrapped around a thicker core wire, giving it a textured, guitar‑string–like structure. 

• This design increases the coil’s surface area, meaning more e‑liquid comes into contact with the heating element — which generally results in richer flavor and thicker vapor compared with simple round-wire coils.

✅ Key Features of the OXVA Fused Clapton Coil

• Material: Ni80 (Nichrome 80) — known for good conductivity and fast ramp-up.

•  Type: Dual-core or tri-core fused Clapton — i.e. two or three inner core wires wrapped together for even heat distribution and better e‑liquid absorption.

• Resistance: Approximately 0.34 Ω (dual-core) or 0.36 Ω (tri-core). \
